HDRI Backdrop and Lighting

HDRI is High-Dynamic-Range Imaging.  It is a 360-degree panoramic capturing of images and lighting information from an original scene, and then compiled into a single large image file.  When an HDRI image is used, the lighting information contained in the file is used in your 3D Virtual World to digitally reproduce the luminosity of the original scene.  Master Sketch 3D can use either photo-realistically-produced HDRI files or we can produce HDRI files from custom 3D scenes.

Using HDRI as a 3D backdrop is a great way to visualize your project, especially when a real-world location or destination already applies.  Working with local photographers to produce your HDRI files, Master Sketch 3D can work remotely with you to create your building and place it right in the center of your real-world HDRI file to produce countless angles and scenarios and providing any imagery your project needs.

In each of the slides above, an HDRI file is shown first, followed by its use in a 3D scene.  The last slide shows and animation produced via an HDRI image compiled from an interior space.
